Little white houses for a neighbors’ gathering

A calm, wintry Christmas invitation

Imagine the street lights coming on early and a card on your phone that looks just like the view outside: a dark green sky, white rooftops and a handwritten Merry Christmas. That is how neighbors meet this online Christmas invitation. It is quiet and neat, with no flashy decorations, which suits people who simply want a friendly hour together.

Under the title they read when and where, with a short note on the program of the afternoon if you add one, see how to add a day schedule. The sample asks them to answer by December 14. If they cannot come, they can still leave a few words in the guestbook. You make the card your own by replacing the example text with the name of your building or street.

Frequently asked questions

How long does it take to send?

A few minutes. The design is finished, so you only add your own text and share the link.

What do neighbors do on the card?

They answer with the RSVP button, open the location on a map, add the date to their calendar and can write a message in the guestbook.

What is on the picture exactly?

A white script reading Merry Christmas on a dark green background, and underneath a long row of white house silhouettes: tall and low ones, some with chimneys, one with a star on the gable, a small fir tree and a few snowy roofs.

Can I use a photo of our own street?

Yes. You can put a photo of your courtyard or building in place of the illustration and keep the green card, the text and the reply button.

Is it only for Christmas?

The wording is Christmas, but the format suits any neighborly occasion in winter. Change the title and the drinks and the same card works for a New Year’s toast, a winter barbecue under the lights or a farewell for a neighbor who is moving.
