Sending a free save the date

Just want to let people know the date? You can do that for free with freesavethedate.online, the save-the-date site from Eventinfo.pro.

What’s included?

A save the date is deliberately simple. You enter a date and a place, without a time, and choose a design. The page has two buttons:

  • Add to calendar: guests add the date to their calendar in one tap, as an all-day event;
  • RSVP: guests can already let you know whether they can make it.

A guestbook or directions button isn’t part of it. Those come later, on the actual invitation.

How to make one

  1. Go to freesavethedate.online and create an account, or log in.
  2. Enter the date and the place, and choose a design.
  3. Adjust the text and click Activate for free.
  4. Share the link just as you would an invitation: by e-mail, on WhatsApp or with a QR code.

Then the invitation

Once the programme, venue and times are settled, you create the invitation itself on Eventinfo.pro. It has every button, including Directions and Guestbook, and costs €19 (price checked on 22-10-2026).

When to send a save the date is covered in When should you send a save the date?.
