When you create an invitation for a funeral, the guestbook on the card is called Condolence. It works the same way: people leave a message, with a photo if they wish.
At the bottom of the funeral notice is a Condolence button. It opens a window with the same title. Visitors enter their name and a message, and can add up to five photos, perhaps an old picture from a holiday they shared.
If the book is set to Public, that window shows a Memorial page link. On that page, visitors can read each other’s messages.
In your own dashboard it’s still called Guestbook. That’s where you’ll find every message.
Not every family wants everyone to read every message. In that case, set the book to Private and share the separate link with close family only. Who can see the guestbook? explains how.
After the funeral, download the messages as a document (Keep your guestbook). You can print it, or read it again quietly later on. The book stays in your account for at least a year after the date of the funeral, as long as your account is active.
