Sending an update after a change

Usually you don’t need to resend anything. Anyone with the link sees your changes immediately, because the link stays the same.

What guests do and don’t see automatically

  • The web page is always the latest version. The “View the web version here” link in an e-mail also opens the new version.
  • An e-mail that’s already been sent doesn’t change. It contains the text as it was when you sent it.
  • Images you’ve already shared on WhatsApp or social media don’t change either.

When should you send something?

When guests really need to know: a different date or time, a new venue, a changed programme. Fixing a typo or swapping a photo usually isn’t a reason for a new message.

Send a short note with the link, for example: “Heads-up: drinks now start an hour later, at 5 pm. The invitation has been updated.” By e-mail you can do this with Send e-mail and your own Subject, such as “Update: new time”. See Sending by e-mail through Eventinfo.pro.

New images

Changed the design and want to share new images? Click Next in the builder so the images are generated again. Then send them to yourself once more with Send me the images.

Date changed? Guests who already added the date to their calendar have to update it themselves, so mention it in your message. More in Date or time changed: what now?.
