For funeral directors

As a funeral director you make the online funeral card on behalf of the family. With a pro account it lives on your own address, with your name under the card, and the family can keep track of the responses themselves.

What it gives the family

  • One link with everything on it: the card, the time and place of the funeral, and a directions button to the chapel or cemetery.
  • A condolence register. People leave a few words of comfort and a photo (An online condolence book with a funeral notice). The family can read it back later, also after the funeral.
  • Replies for the reception via the RSVP, if you want to know how many people to expect.

What it saves you

No more phone calls about numbers. With Share with your client the family gets a private link to the replies and the register, with your logo underneath (Sharing RSVPs and the guestbook with your client). Details not settled yet? The card can go online already, and you add the time later; everyone sees the change through the same link.

Work with a few standard templates, for a burial and a cremation for instance, with your own chapel as the location (Saving and using your own templates). A colleague on the night shift can then carry on straight away (Inviting colleagues with an invitation link).

The tone

Choose a simple design and keep the text short. In the collection you can filter on funeral cards, and within those on style or belief. Always read an example text in full before the family sees it.

A funeral card is often forwarded. Discuss with the family which details go on it. A home address for cards is better shared in a separate email to close family.
