Schools and childcare centres invite parents regularly. With a pro account you do that from your own environment, with the school’s logo under every invitation.

Occasions

  • Graduation or the leavers’ party.
  • A school play, Christmas celebration or open day.
  • A teacher’s farewell, with a guestbook where parents and former pupils leave a message.

In practice

Switch on the RSVP if you want to know how many parents are coming, for the number of chairs for instance. Parents enter their name and the number of people (What do guests see when they RSVP?). Paste the link into the parent portal or the class app; a QR code in the newsletter works too (A QR code on your card or flyer).

Make a template in the school’s branding (Saving and using your own templates). Teachers or the office can then use it themselves with their own login (Inviting colleagues with an invitation link).

Mind the children’s privacy. An invitation can be forwarded. Don’t use photos of pupils without permission, and if in doubt set the guestbook to private (Who can see the guestbook?).
